about

Here it is - my very own blog!

When I first started writing, I was a super busy undergrad student, living in the mountains (or was it the beach at that point?), and was in a long-distance relationship.

I continued to write as I graduated with a Bachelor's in Science, married the love of my life, moved to a new state (and a city!), and changed careers before even starting the last one.

Later, I graduated with a Master's in Education, settled into the new city life, and adopted a couple cats.

Now I am starting to search for yet another career, joke about getting my doctorate (but who knows what field??), and enjoying a life that my husband and I built for ourselves.

I have made significant changes over the years; I am not sure my younger self would recognize me and she would be especially cautious about the ways I think. I do not have a big family, I am not nearly so blind in my religious faith, I actually have political beliefs, I revel in academia, and I love to read (even to the point of having floor to ceiling bookshelves!). Crazy, right?

Worth noting, is how the Christian faith was very influential in my early years, but even then I chose the words of Mark 9:24b ("I believe; help my unbelief!") to summarize my faith in blog posts. Those words are ever more applicable today.

Though lots has changed, the purpose of this blog remains the same: to help decipher the busy days of my life.

Thanks for reading!
